Traveling to Lithuania

There are several ways to get to Lithuania:

Plane

  • About 2 hours flight

  • Amsterdam → Vilnius (Air Baltic, 1–2 times per day) – more expensive

  • Eindhoven → Vilnius (Ryanair Mon, Wed, Fri & Wizzair Mon, Fri) – cheaper

Car

  • About 1,800 km via Germany and Poland; roads are good. An overnight stop near the German-Polish border is recommended.

Train

  • At least 24 hours, but an adventure!
    Amsterdam → Berlin → Warsaw → Mockava → Vilnius

Bus

  • Around 30 hours
Flixbus: Amsterdam → Warsaw → Vilnius

Boat

  • Klaipėda port

Wondering about nice coffee places and bars in Vilnius? Maybe a museum selection?
